The Color of Canadian Money

Today on Gingersnap Creations, they have a new color challenge - The Color of Money. The challenge is to make something using the colors of either where you live or where you were born.

I chose to use the beautiful colors of my no-longer-home but still native land of Canada. To check out all the great colors of Canadian money, you can visit Wikipedia where I am sure they have abided by the way too many rules for photographing money :)

I chose the 5 dollar (blue) and 10 dollar (purple) for my tags. Here they are:

Spend Time Tag
Collage Image: Beauty in Blue #1855 (Altered Pages)
Paper: Boxer from Pattern Paper line (BasicGrey) and No. 19 (Daisy D's)
Other: words from old book page; shipping tag
Embellishment: Enchanted Evening grosgrain ribbon (PaperTrey Ink)

Stepping Heavenward Tag
Collage Image: Beauty in Purple #1855 (Altered Pages)
Paper: Grape Soda (Karen Foster); Morrocan Floral - Eggplant (Daisy D's); postal paper (unknown)
Other: words from old book page; shipping tag
Embellishment: Enchanted Evening grosgrain ribbon (PaperTrey Ink)

Supplies - $5.00. Inspiration - Priceless.
