PDCC39: Tiled Travels

This week, the Playdate Cafe has a really fun but challenging color combination, so now that I have more time to stamp (finally) I thought I would play along. To play, you had to work with various shades of browns from deep chocolate to subtle cream.

While they went to Dublin for their inspiration, I decided to take a detour to Italy with a great grid image from Magenta. Here's their wonderful inspiration:

After coloring this wonderful grid-patterned image in with copics, I decided to break it apart into inchies (okay inchies and a halfies) and play a bit. Here's how it all came out:

Tiled Italy
Stamp: Travels in Italy (Magenta)
Paper: Creamy Swirls (Creative Imaginations)
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip and Whisper White (Stampin Up)
Ink: Rich Cocoa (Memento)
Copics: E40, E41, E43, E51, E53, E55, E57, E59, and E77

Hoping your creativity takes you traveling today!
