GC61: Heat

It's been so hot this Summer that everyone's mind is on the heat even the Gingers at Gingersnap Creations. Heat is the theme for the new Chestnut Challenge.

I stamped the angel image into distress inks which had been stamped onto a craft mat. To create the flaming background, I dragged another piece of glossy paper through the residual ink. Love this technique!

Be An Angel
Stamps: angel (Hearts in Touch); alphabets (Hampton Art Stamps and My Sentiments Exactly)
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red (Stampin Up); glossy cardstock (Stampland Chicago); generic black
Ink: Jet Black (StazOn); Fired Brick, Mustard Seed and Dried Marigold (Ranger Distress Ink)

Stay cool and don't forget to check out all the red-hot creations of The Gingers, the Gingersnap Creations Design Team!
