GC14: Strawberry Girl

This past weekend marked Strawberry Festivals in many of the towns around me. Thinking about strawberries and denim was what gave me the idea for this quick card for the most recent Gingersnap Creations Color Challenge - Red, White and Blue! A few daisies later and I had a finished card!

I used marker watercoloring and drywall stitching, two Technique Junkies techniques, to complete this card.

Strawberry Girl
Stamp: girl with strawberry (HAnglar and stAnglar)
Paper: white daisies on a red background (unknown, but very pretty)
Cardstock: Brocade Blue and Whisper White (Stampin Up); watercolor paper
Ink: Black Tuxedo (Memento)
Markers: Black (Marvy); Brocade Blue, Ruby Red, Garden Green, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink, Summer Sun (Stampin Up)

I hope your day was strawberry sweet!

Your card is lovely... and your sewing abilities are not that bad otherwise it would look fake...
Thank you for all the details!
